5 Los Angeles restaurants that are totally worth the hype

If you are a foodie, like most of us on the BPR team are, the City of Angels is often at the top of the dining destinations list. As BPR has recently expanded from Toronto to L.A., bringing its public relations services across the border, we have had the tough task of taste-testing some of the city’s yummiest spots! Whether looking to hit up a tiny taco truck or indulge in an extravagant 10-course tasting menu, here are our favourites that you HAVE to check out!

Leo's Taco Truck

It wouldn’t be surprising if you’ve witnessed or waited in a huge lineup for these beloved tacos! Whether you are craving their famously juicy pork, a rainbow of salsa selections at the impressive salsa bar, or want to add a bright addition of fresh pineapple, you don’t have to look too far - just visit one of the seven Leo’s locations throughout L.A. to get your taco fix!

Terra

Located on the third floor of Eataly Los Angeles, Terra is a rooftop restaurant and lounge featuring a wood-burning Italian grill and views of the Hollywood Hills. Named for "earth" in Italian, Terra's menu is centered around the grill and seasonal raw ingredients, allowing the simple flavors to shine. The resulting earthy dishes pair perfectly with the botanical cocktails, regional Italian wines, and more.

Highly Likely

This bright, airy and vibrant all-day cafe is located in West Adams and dishes up delicious eats, coffee, beer and wine! We recommend trying the standout fish sandwich, made with Californian caught, tempura-battered fish with kosho tartar sauce (YUM!) or the lauded Japanese porridge bowl.

Horses

Located inside one of the city’s most prized bar and restaurant spaces, Horses, brings a fresh, youthful energy with nods to the past. You can look forward to small bites, familiar flavors taken in new directions, plenty of cocktails and natural wine, as well as what’s said to be the best new bistro burger in town. If you’re lucky, you may even spot an A-lister enjoying the new digs (we spotted Beyonce and Jay Z during our last visit *starstruck*).

All Day Baby

If you’re craving a good ol’ greasy spoon, All Day Baby is the ultimate, retro-inspired diner serving up the classics. We’re always happy to sink our teeth into their iconic roast beef sandwich or a comforting breakfast after a night on the town. Finish off with a selection of delightful pastries or one of their boozy milkshakes!
